Turbulent History of Islam | By Younus AlGohar

His Holiness Younus AlGohar explains why Islam has a particularly bloody history and why the Quran appears to be more aggressive in comparison to other celestial books.

Main points:

- Since birth, Islam has been subject to bloodshed and turmoil. We defend the esoteric aspect, but political Islam has always been turbulent. Islam has been through a phenomenal crisis of not observing respect for elders of Islam & non-Muslims. Muslims don't observe respect as a whole. The people for whom Islam was sent are aggressive by nature. Ironically, it was Muslims who killed Prophet Mohammad's household three of the four caliphs.

- The world must understand that a Muslim from the Arab world behaves differently from a Muslim who comes from the Indian subcontinent. Not much wrong is with Islam. More wrong is with the people for which Islam was founded. When God sent them Islam, he was aware of their temperament. He became a little aggressive in Quran as he was dealing with aggressive people. Historically speaking, the people of the Arabian peninsula were warriors. Even the royal family of Saudi Arabia used to be pirates.

- When God customises a religion, it is in accordance with the temperament and attributes of the nation the religion is about to be introduced to. A religion is always tailor-made. Islam is not suitable for non-Arabs.

- Some of these verses of the Quran must be seen with reference to the context, otherwise they can be grossly misunderstand. Those who are universalising the contextualised verses of the Quran are committing a crime against the Quran.
